Terms of Use

1. General provisions

These Terms of Use govern the use of the website mentalno-zdravlje.info, its subdomains, and related functionalities and content (hereinafter: the Portal).
The Portal is managed and maintained by Božidar Nikša Tarabić MBA, mag. psych. (hereinafter: the Author and data controller).

By using the Portal, the user confirms that they are familiar with and accept these Terms of Use.
If the user does not agree with these Terms, they should not use the Portal.
Use of the Portal is free of charge.
The Portal is used without registration and without user accounts.

The Portal has a psychoeducational, informational, professional, and research purpose.
The Portal may allow users to complete psychological measures, questionnaires, tests, scales, or other forms of self-assessment (hereinafter: measures).
The content is intended for general information, learning, self-reflection, and the development of psychological knowledge.
The Portal is not intended for diagnosis, psychological assessment, psychotherapy, counseling, treatment, or as a substitute for evaluation by a licensed professional.

Measures on the Portal may include publicly available instruments, instruments used with permission, or instruments created by the Author or collaborators.
Where applicable, references will be provided, except in cases of unintentional omission.
Results displayed to users are informational and psychoeducational only.
Results must not be interpreted as diagnosis, professional opinion, clinical finding, treatment recommendation, or a substitute for professional consultation.
The user independently decides whether to use the Portal and bears responsibility for interpretation and use of results.

The Portal does not use user accounts or login systems.
The Portal does not require users to provide their name.
During use, responses, calculated results, and other user-provided data may be stored.
Data are stored in an anonymous form without direct identifiers.
The purpose of storing anonymous data includes calculation of group results and norms, improvement of Portal content and functionality, professional, scientific, educational, and statistical analysis, and preparation of professional and scientific publications.
By using the Portal and completing measures, the user consents to the storage and use of their anonymous responses for these purposes.
If the user does not agree, they should not complete measures on the Portal.

Since the Portal does not use accounts or store identifiable data, the Author generally cannot link stored data to a specific individual.
Therefore, users generally cannot request deletion of their specific past responses, as there is no reliable way to identify them.
The Author is not obliged to collect additional identifying data solely for enabling identification of anonymous records.
If a user can provide sufficient information for reliable identification without disproportionate risk of error, the Author may consider the request but does not guarantee feasibility.
Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot be linked to individuals are not considered personal data.

Use of the Portal is voluntary.
The user independently decides which data to enter.
Users should not enter data they do not wish to be processed anonymously.
The Portal must not be used in a way that compromises security or functionality.

The Author does not guarantee continuous availability, accuracy, completeness, or error-free operation.
The Author is not liable for any damage, loss, decisions, interpretations, or consequences resulting from use of the Portal.
The Author is not responsible for decisions made based on Portal content.
The Author does not guarantee permanent storage of data or results.
The Author reserves the right to modify, limit, suspend, or terminate any part of the Portal at any time.

Content may be used with appropriate citation unless otherwise stated.
Measures may be protected by intellectual property rights.
Users are responsible for lawful use and citation.
Access does not grant rights for professional, diagnostic, or commercial use beyond the original authors' terms.

The Author applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data.
No system can guarantee complete security or protection.
Use of the Portal is at the user's own risk.
